Stephen Curry came out for the Sundance Film Festival premiere of his new documentary at the World Premiere at the Eccles Theatre in Park City, Utah on Monday night. Those most important to his story were there to support the basketball star in including his wife, Ayesha Curry, mother, Sonya Curry and Bob McKillop, former Head Coach, Davidson Wildcats. We talked to some of them at the big premiere of the Apple Original Films/ A24 bio-pic and to the Director/Producer, Peter Nicks as well to get the scoop.
The remarkable coming-of-age story of one of the most influential, dynamic and unexpected players in the history of basketball: Stephen Curry. This feature documentary — blending intimate cinéma vérité, archival footage and on camera interviews — documents Curry’s rise from an undersized college player at a tiny backwater Division I college to a four-time NBA champion, building one of the most dominant sports dynasties in the world.
