The Devil Wears Prada 2 debuts in NYC ahead of May 1 release
The original stars of The Devil Wears Prada — Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci — reunited on the red carpet for the world premiere of the highly anticipated sequel at Lincoln Center in New York City. Fashion took center stage: Hathaway stunned in a custom red Louis Vuitton gown, Streep wore a red leather Givenchy cape dress, and Blunt opted for a Schiaparelli look paired with a Mikimoto pearl choker. Notable attendees included Lady Gaga, Anna Wintour, Heidi Klum, and Justin Theroux, who appeared with his wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom, following the recent arrival of their baby boy. The film, set 20 years after the original, follows Miranda Priestly as she navigates the decline of traditional magazine publishing and clashes with Emily—now a powerful executive at a luxury group whose advertising dollars Miranda needs to survive. The film hits theaters May 1.
Alan Osmond, eldest Osmond brother and band founder, passes at 76
Alan Osmond, the eldest of the nine Osmond siblings and a founding force behind The Osmonds, died at his Utah home at 76, surrounded by his wife of 51 years, Suzanne, and their eight sons. Widely regarded as the group’s creative leader, Osmond helped guide the family act from a barbershop quartet on The Andy Williams Show to international pop success in the 1970s. A songwriter and producer, he co-wrote hits including “Crazy Horses” and later served as executive producer of Donny & Marie. He retired from performing in 1987 after being diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis and became a dedicated advocate for awareness, often saying, “I may have MS, but MS does not have me.” His brother, Merrill Osmond, paid tribute, saying Alan had “stepped into the presence of our Father in Heaven with honor and peace.” While Donny Osmond wrote “My protector. My guide. The one who quietly carried so much responsibility so the rest of us could shine.”
